I bought a massive head of cauliflower – like 2kg –> what was I thinking. Lots more cauliflower dishes to come
Recipe – adapted from Joy the Baker
1 pound cauliflower florets
2 large garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed
1/2 Tbsp. Turkish Red Pepper Flakes
juice of half a lemon
(ingredients were omitted from the original since I did not have them in my kitchen – sad moment but still a delicious dish)
Place a rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 400 degrees F.
In a roasting dish, toss together cauliflower with garlic, oil and about 1/8 teaspoon salt.
Top with butter cubes and red pepper flakes. Roast, stirring occasionally, until browned (glowy) and delicious, about 15-20
minutes. Remove from oven and toss hot cauliflower with lemon.
Toaster oven approved
Cheers from my Turkish Kitchen
